Bird Dog Hall of Fame
"I have had the privilege of owning some of the finest bird dogs in the country. Over the many years I have been guiding, I have kept a daily log of each dog’s performance. Even so, it is still hard to compare dogs from one generation to the next.  All of these dogs are supreme athletes and love the hunt. They are a little smarter, tougher, have better instincts, stamina and scenting ability and even a little more heart than the rest of the best. These dogs always have been, and remain the backbone of my quail hunting business.  They are the dogs you can count on when you need to the most.  They are the legacy of my quail hunting business. They are my 'Hall of Fame' team." -John Cox
John Cox

John Cox treats his horses like dogs, his dogs like children and usually roots for the quail instead of the hunters. In some primal way, Cox understands that quail hunting is more than a pile of dead birds. At its core, wild quail hunting is an art form, an intricate ballet of scent, sight and sound danced across a vast, mostly wild, landscape with John Cox as the unlikely choreographer….Ray Sasser, Dallas Morning News
