Oklahoma Trophy Deer Hunts

We do a very limited number of deer hunts on the historic 50,000 acre Barby Ranch located in the panhandle of Oklahoma in Beaver County.  The terrain in these areas consists of rolling sand hills with skunk brush, plum thickets and over 25 miles of the Beaver River.  The habitat in the river bottom consists of tall grasses, scattered plum thickets, salt cedar and cottonwoods.

The rifle season in Oklahoma is usually the third weekend in November and runs to the first weekend of December. Muzzleloader season usually begins the third weekend of October and runs for two weeks. 

We have several food plots planted and a feeding program maintained for several months leading up to and during the season.  We hunt from stands, horseback, stalking and still-hunting depending upon the weather, time of day and hunter's preference.

This is a very exclusive and exciting hunt. Each hunter is given the opportunity to hunt a variety of habitats and see several mature bucks each day.  Our hunts are for three to four days, include meals, lodging, and transportation, and are either fully guided or semi-guided.  Each hunter should have an opportunity to harvest a mature buck in the 140 – 180 Boone & Crockett class range.
